Scalr runs and governs your Infrastructure-as-Code; it does not sell verified modules. IaC Bazaar supplies the modules. They work together: run our verified, signed modules inside Scalr.
What Scalr is
A TACOS: execution, remote state, granular RBAC, OPA + Checkov policy-as-code, drift detection, PR-native GitOps and a hierarchical org/environment model. Its private registry hosts your own VCS/OCI modules and includes OpenTofu-native module testing (real apply/destroy) plus a customer-scoped MCP server.
Pricing
Transparent, per-run. Free ($0, 50 runs/mo, 2 concurrent); Business ($0.99/run, no cap, self-serve, unlimited users); Enterprise custom (from ~20,000 runs/yr). Billed per run - not per-seat or per-resource - and several run types are free.
Where IaC Bazaar wins
- We SUPPLY verified modules; Scalr RUNS whatever modules you already have - its registry ships no pre-built content.
- Independent, PUBLISHED verification: we statically validate, live-test (applied, verified, destroyed) and cosign-sign as a marketplace curator, with evidence published for the buyer. Scalr provides self-service module-testing tooling you author and run against your own modules, with no published third-party evidence or signing.
- No orchestration lock-in, plus a-la-carte self-serve pricing and a free tier.
- A PUBLIC catalog: anyone can query which verified modules exist and audit their evidence with no account at all, whereas Scalr’s MCP is scoped to your own account and your own modules. This row is narrower than it used to be, and we would rather say so than pad it: reading a module’s input/output contract now needs a signed-in account here too (a free account reads the free band), so the honest contrast is public EVIDENCE, not public schemas.

It complements a module marketplace: its registry hosts only your own modules, so IaC Bazaar supplies the independently verified, cosign-signed modules Scalr runs. The honest contrast is "independent published verification + public catalog" vs. "orchestration platform + self-authored testing scoped to your own account".
