akamai-property-ion

End-to-end Akamai Ion CDN property: origin wiring, edge hostname, CP code, an opinionated caching/performance rule tree, and staging/production activation — in one module call. Works with Terraform and OpenTofu (>= 1.6), Akamai provider >= 10.0, < 11.0.

What you get:

  • CP code + edge hostname (dual-stack IPV6_COMPLIANCE by default) + property
  • Built-in PAPI rule tree: customer origin with True-Client-IP and SNI, HTTP→HTTPS 301 redirect, sane default caching, long-lived static-asset caching with prefetch, HTTP/2
  • is_secure = true and secure-by-default certificates (DEFAULT provisioning) out of the box; switch to CPS_MANAGED + cps_enrollment_id for your own CPS certificate on .edgekey.net
  • Full rule-tree override via rules_json when you outgrow the defaults
  • Optional activation (activate = true) with auto-acknowledged warnings
